Climate Complicates Agriculture. We’re Seeking Smart Solutions.

The U.S. Agency for International Development is looking for your ideas on climate-smart agriculture.

The agency is currently seeking best practices and innovative solutions that provide cost-effective, practical options for responding to climate and weather-related impacts on smallholder farmer-based food and agriculture systems in low-income countries. In many cases, these solutions may provide a double or triple “win” by also reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving agriculture income and productivity.

The first call for ideas focuses on ways to encourage greater private sector engagement and investment in climate-smart agriculture practices and technologies. The primary geographic focus is on Feed the Future countries and their respective target value chains.
