AGRA Chairman Kofi Annan presented the award to the CEO of RUDI, Abel Lyimo, at a dinner hosted by Tanzanian President Jakaya M. Kikwete and attended by 1,500 delegates from all over the world in Arusha.

Feed the Future has partnered with RUDI to work with smallholder farmers and has helped build the organization’s capacity to implement projects in Tanzania.
With a focus on gender integration, RUDI assists small and medium entrepreneurs at the grassroots level to become competitive and profitable, while improving livelihoods for families and farmers associations.
